Certain widgets can only be added to certain zones.
"Why," you ask? Because we want profile pages to have freedom of customization, but also to have some consistency. This way, when anyone visits a deviant, they know they can always find the art in the top left, and personal info in the top right.
Don't forget, restraints can bring out the creativity in you!
Now go forth and astound us all with your devious profiles!
Thanks ever so much to the anonomous deviant who gave me a Core membership! Very kind of you and a really nice surprise!
Thanks also to all those who have started watching me and have been favouriting my work. I'm hoping to put more art up soon- I've got a whole bunch of things I scribbled during conferences last month that I'm hoping to put up
I'm also always interested in hearing thoughts and ideas from watchers and friends - no guarantee I'll get around to drawing them - but the ideas often give me inspiration and help me to get a move on, so please do comment with anything you'd like to see me draw!
Also o-rion I have not forgotten Tarkin comission - his beautiful face will eventually get drawn!
In other news, I played Undertale over Christmas and enjoyed that weird little game. Also finally got a significant way through Fable, which i have been wanting to play since about 2003. (My parents never let me buy it when I was younger! Then I bought it for xbox and my xbox died, then I bought it for PC and started it twice but both saves didn't work!) I also finished the Miles Edgeworth game for DS which was nice and nostalgic
I got the album Thunder & Consolation for Christmas by New Model Army, which I can highly reccommend. It's kinda hard to listen to online, but here's one track of it to give you some idea:
I'm also half way through watching the live action film of Rurouni Kenshin, which I am enjoying a surprising amount. The action sequences are really good and they captured the setting really well. Considering that all the main characters need to keep their ridiculous anime hairstyles, this is surprisingly watchable. Then again, my opinion may be heavily swayed by the fact that I used to read this when I was 12.
Also saw Rogue One when it came out! Particularly enjoyed the ending, and the grumpy droid who reminded me a lot of HK-47!
